People are getting called out as fascists and anti fascists, all over the world, down to your community. You’re either one or the other because all the middle ground is fast getting rubbed out. This picking-of-sides is where American political division and fecklessness has left the people.
This dichotomy, this battleline of fascists versus anti fascists, is also where truth and responsibility starts to get traction. Only one side can be right for democracy and the people, and the fascists admit and demonstrate their goal of taking the country down. The fight upon us is good and necessary to stop the predation and return to stable American life for all. Antifascists have always been there with readiness to resist fascism, and they welcome the growing ranks.
We’re all anti fascists because we are learning, organizing, and confidence is growing
Keep it simple. Anti fascists today are anti Trump
Team Trump is giving it their best fascist shot, and the people are not going for it. Half the people did not like Trump or his gangsterism to begin with. Now, more and more people are growing in their disgust or are being directly hurt by Trump, so the ranks are growing. This is the fascists’ greatest fear – that the American electorate is coming out in force against Trumpism.
While many Americans fell for fundamental fascism under the leadership of Trump, most are not. Anti fascists are organizing and resisting. Anti fascists are the natural reaction to fascism. By the way, according to the Institute for Public Dialogue, “Since the 1990s, there have been zero deadly terrorist attacks in the US that can be tied to Antifa groups or members.”
So, resist or even revolt, and call it what you please. But, keep this in mind: Trump is feeble of mind and body and will not last, but “Trumpism” could. Also, know that Democrats are in no way absolved of guilt; consider for example, that the Democrats actually waged the fascist slaughter in Gaza.
Fascism has grown to the point it is that leopard eating the face of America
Excuse this harsh image, but this is the GOP lie to the MAGA folks; “we won’t eat your face.” So far, fascism has ripped up the federal agencies above the MAGAs, and has made an ICE assault below them. As fascism tries to fully close the trap on the working middle class – on public health, MEDICAID etcetera – the MAGA force will convert.
Hundreds of thousands came out against right-wing extremism yesterday in Germany, to protest against VP Vance propaganda. If you watched the news you might have seen these anti fascists symbols in the crowd.
The complexion of today’s American fascism
Trump and oligarchs like Musk assume to own the country, able to do whatever they want. They are riding high, having satisfied the basic definition of fascism: extreme nationalism, militarism, and the placement of their interests above those of common citizens. Or, see Umberto Eco’s List of the 14 Common Features of Fascism for a more thorough definition. He says “there was only one Nazism, but the fascist game can be played in many forms, and the name of the game does not change.”
Due to fascist lawlessness, anti fascists are organizing and calling for solidarity
Antifascism is the viable counter movement that needs to be fully embraced. This embrace is necessary to win back America now, and to preserve the stature and welfare of the country into the future.
